I don't know about you guys, but without media, I would not have a clue what's going on in college basketball. I have loved watching games from my phone, computer, TV and sometimes all three at once :) Definitely brings people together, and depending on who you're rooting for, it can tear you guys apart ;)
Go cougars this Tuesday in the big apple for the NIT semi-finals!!

Blog #10-IMDB parents guide
Recently I discovered something very useful on the movie website "IMDB". When you go to the home page, simply type in a movie title. Once you find your movie, scroll down on the page to "storyline". At the bottom of this section will be something called "parents guide". If you click on this, you will be able to read a description of the movie. They include details sex & nudity, violence and gore, profanity, drugs/alcohol/smoking, and frightening/intense scenes portrayed in the movie. Depending on what movie you are looking up, it might be somewhat uncomfortable to read these details, so be careful.
I am not sure who exactly posts these details or ratings, but I have found it somewhat helpful because even though many movies are rated PG-13, we should focus on what is actually in the movie, rather than just the rating label.

Blog #9- helpful apps
This weekend, I went to Las Vegas to watch the WCC tournament. It was a great time, and I was able to visit my brother, his wife and their 9 month old baby. I was grateful for different apps during this vacation such as google maps that helped me navigate my way through the city, gas buddy to get me cheap gas, and ESPN so I could check random stats, scores, and game updates.
What apps do you guys find most useful?
